3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Platform, or allow others to use it through your account, for any of the following:
3.1 Illegal Activities

3.5 Intellectual Property Violations
- Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others
- Using the Platform to generate content that violates copyright, trademark, or patent rights

4. AI-Specific Prohibitions
Given the AI-powered nature of the Platform, the following additional prohibitions apply:
4.1 Deceptive AI Use
- Deploying Agents that impersonate humans without clear disclosure to end-users that they are interacting with an AI
- Representing AI-generated outputs as human-created without disclosure
- Using Agents to deceive users into believing they are communicating with a specific individual
4.2 Harmful AI Outputs

- Using Agents to produce medical, legal, or financial advice presented as professional counsel without appropriate disclaimers
- Creating Agents designed to manipulate, exploit, or psychologically harm users
4.3 Safety Guardrail Circumvention
- Attempting to bypass, disable, or circumvent safety measures built into the Platform or LLM providers
- Using prompt injection techniques to override Agent safety configurations
- Configuring Agents to ignore or override ethical guidelines or safety constraints
4.4 Surveillance and Profiling
- Using Agents for unauthorized surveillance of individuals
- Building psychological profiles of end-users without their informed consent
- Collecting sensitive personal information through Agent interactions without proper legal basis and disclosure
4.5 Autonomous Decision-Making
- Using Agents to make consequential automated decisions about individuals (employment, credit, housing, insurance) without human oversight and appropriate legal compliance
- Deploying Agents in safety-critical systems (medical devices, autonomous vehicles, critical infrastructure) without appropriate safeguards and regulatory compliance
5. Community Engine and Asimov's Laws
The Kind Robots community engine enforces ethical constraints inspired by Asimov's Laws of Robotics. Agents operating within the community framework must:
- Not harm humans or allow harm through inaction — Agents must not generate outputs that could foreseeably cause harm to individuals
- Follow authorized instructions — Agents must operate within the boundaries configured by the Customer, except where doing so would violate the first law
- Protect their operational integrity — Agents should maintain their configured purpose and safety constraints
Attempting to configure Agents to violate these principles is a violation of this AUP.
6. Rate Limiting and Fair Use
6.1 Platform Limits
Each subscription tier includes defined resource limits (API endpoints, admin seats, etc.). Customers must operate within their tier's limits.
6.2 Fair Use
Even within tier limits, Customers must not:
- Generate artificially inflated usage to degrade Platform performance
- Consume disproportionate resources that affect other Customers
- Use automated tools to stress-test the Platform without prior written authorization
6.3 Rate Limits
The Platform enforces rate limits on API requests. Attempts to circumvent or abuse rate limits constitute a violation of this AUP.
7. Consequences of Violations
Kind Robots reserves the right to take the following actions in response to AUP violations, at our sole discretion:
7.1 Warning
For first-time or minor violations, we may issue a written warning describing the violation and required corrective action.
7.2 Suspension
For repeated or serious violations, we may temporarily suspend access to the Platform or specific features. During suspension:
- Agents will be disabled
- API access will be revoked
- Data will be preserved for the duration of the suspension
7.3 Termination
For severe or willful violations, we may permanently terminate the Customer's account. Upon termination for AUP violations:
- Access to the Platform ceases immediately
- Data is retained for 30 days per our data retention policy, then permanently deleted
- No refund will be issued for the remaining subscription period
7.4 Reporting to Authorities
We reserve the right to report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
7.5 Escalation Path
Violations are assessed based on severity, intent, and impact:
- Low severity (unintentional, limited impact): Warning + corrective guidance
- Medium severity (negligent, moderate impact): Temporary suspension + required remediation
- High severity (intentional or severe impact): Immediate termination
8. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to:
Email: abuse@kindrobots.ai
Subject: "AUP Violation Report"
Include the following information:
- Description of the suspected violation
- Any relevant evidence (screenshots, URLs, timestamps)

We will investigate all reports and respond within 5 business days.
9. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Ensuring all Users within their Organization comply with this AUP
- Monitoring Agent configurations and outputs for compliance
